Smallville

So, I finally watched last week's Smallville. It was fairly entertaining, though I found the post-mortem discussions of Clark's and Lex's friendship to be rather boring and uninspired (that's why I put off watching the episode in the first place). "You gave up on me first!" "No, you did!" "Wah!" Lex's protests that Clark never gave him a chance probably would've meant more if Lex weren't, you know, actually evil. Even in the beginning, Lex's obsession with Clark and the bridge accident was incredibly creepy. Does he really blame Clark for wanting to back off?
I did LOVE how the sun regenerated Clark at the end (and even seemed to give him a shower :P) and how he seemed to really NOTICE how the sun affects him.
I never in one million years thought I'd say this, but the highlight of the episode was actually Lana. She was such a manipulative beeyotch (aka "a Luthor") that I couldn't wait to see what she'd come up with next. That speech about not wanting to marry Lex because she'd been worried about the baby was GOLD. Even Lex, who seems to have fewer scruples than Lionel now, looked guilty. And when did KK start acting? Maybe she just needed something to sink her teeth into all along. The ironic thing is that Clark wouldn't be in love with beeyotch Lana Luthor. Which is OK by me. ;)
