GOP front-runner or Buffy villain? He's going to look so presidential up there next to Hillary, Obama, or Edwards, dontcha know.

Hey, don't forget to vote in the Tubeys at Television Without Pity. Voting goes a lot faster now that there are only 10 nominees per category. Make sure you at least vote for Sean and Christian for best Hoyay! moment. I voted for Jensen as my favorite actor and Logan and Veronica as worst couple. Ha. I think I voted for Sam and Dean for best relationship. And I made a point of always voting for Lana/KK in every "worst" category she was in, even though she didn't annoy me nearly as much this past year. But it's the principle of the thing. :P

Vote in the Tubeys now. MY GOD, the site is sloooow. But voting's fun and I'm bored, so. I think voting for the 1st round ends tomorrow noon.

Oh, The Killers are going to be on the Sundance Channel tomorrow night at 10 pm ET.

I can't wait till I can vote for "(Nip/Tuck) Christian dreams that he and Sean are a couple" in the Best HoYay! Moment category of the Tubey Awards on TWOP. *checks mailbox for Season 4 DVDs*

And, I don't watch Ugly Betty, but I love this One-Liner: "You will be my seeing-eye gay." (Wilhelmina, Ugly Betty) HAHAHAHA. I could use one of those, to help me decorate my living room.

Okay, I just started watching Traveler. Why didn't anyone tell me one of the guys played Ryan's brother Trey on The O.C.?! I love that guy!

I thought this was funny:
"I’ve learned one thing in listening to all the debates and reading about all these people running for office, and the one fact I’ve learned, I can’t get out of my mind, is that Rudy Giuliani has been married more times than Mitt Romney’s been hunting."

-- Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV), quoted by the New York Times.

Fall TV

I checked out some previews for Josh Schwartz's new fall shows today.

Gossip Girl looks like it could be a fun teen soap, but I didn't see a lot of humor in this preview. Hopefully the show will have the Schwartz ironic humor touch. It's nice hearing Kristen Bell's voice, though.

The previews for Chuck look very funny, more like what I'd expect from Josh Schwartz, but the Chuck character reminds me so much of Seth Cohen. Actually, that's a good thing, too bad they didn't get Adam Brody to play him! *misses*

I'll watch both in the fall--it'll be interesting to see which of the shows survives. If I had to pick one, it would be GG since the CW tends to stick with shows longer than the big three networks, especially teen soaps (look at One Tree Hill). One thing's probably sure: the soundtracks to both of the shows will be awesome.

Good news

Good news for America: a gay person has a greater chance of becoming president than I do! (I know y'all are relieved.) But what about a gay atheist, I wonder?

Oh, so I read in the new Entertainment Weekly that the last two Republicans (that will admit it) in Hollywood will be teaming up for a new comedy series. Yes, Kelsey Grammer and Patricia Heaton will be starring in a new show to be airing on...you guessed it, Fox. Y'know, there is a silver lining in The O.C. ending--I'll never have to watch Fox anything again! Sorry, Patricia. But don't worry, even if you weren't a Republican, I'd probably never watch you in anything because you're incredibly annoying.
