Are We There Yet?

Last night the hubby and I watched The Painted Veil, a film about an unhappily married woman (Naomi Watts) and her emotionally distant husband (Edward Norton) who travel to a remote village in China during the middle of a cholera epidemic in the mid-1920s. The movie is beautifully filmed and quite interesting, even if it is a bit slow in parts. It reminded me a lot of The English Patient, only genuinely moving and less pretentious. :P The ending wasn't exactly a surprise, but it was still moving nonetheless. And Ed Norton has got quite the nice body. *whistles*
