In other news, I just spent 45 minutes sorting my Christmas wrapping paper, gift bags, and bows. Now I just have to find room in the closet... Remind me not to buy any Christmas paper next year.

I bought an awesome giftwrap organizer. I love it unreasonably much.

I think I only know a couple of names of that list but okay.

Noted. I'll try to remind you next year about the Christmas paper ;)

Okay, that's it, I'm going to take down the Christmas crap NOW. So what if I am staggering around with my first migraine since October. You are so right. *plods toward basement to get storage boxes*

Oh, my tree is still up! The prospect of taking it down is so daunting I decided to clean out our cedar closet instead.

OMFG this thing really blew up into a bitch of a migraine. I am pretty sure it has to do with the unfortunate confluence of Hormonz and the weather system that's causing all this otherwise gorgeous fog. I know from experience that two Imitrex don't work any better than one, so I'm just having some Advil and waiting for bedtime when I can hit the hard stuff. Am hoping tomorrow is more tolerable because it's a full, long workday. And then the Scholar is leaving Tuesday morning for a 4-night trip. :(

Anyway. We got the Christmas down, put away, out the door, vacuumed. I still have to scrub the tree stand, unless the Scholar took pity on me and did it--I'm too discouraged right now to go down to the basement and look, but I'll have to go soon b/c my wash cycle is finished and I've got to get my sweaters on the gentle dry or they'll still be wet tomorrow. And if I feel like this tomorrow, I really don't think I can bear wearing a jacket. Isn't this grand? I'd like to have some kind of up-moving-around job and no headaches.

Sending migraine going away vibes...

I actually made it to the gym today and yesterday. Tree is still up though (it's artificial so no rush, except I'm sick of having that hanging over my head). Meh, maybe tomorrow night.

I wanted that tree down for three reasons. 1. The city starts picking up the trees tomorrow and although our neighborhood is probably not #1 on the runway, I don't want to miss tree pick-up, just in case, because it is pretty lame to be the only house on the block with a tree out front in, say, March. Which happens to a few people around here every year. 2. The Scholar is leaving Tuesday morning for a trip and will be gone until Saturday, and I do not want to be looking at that tree and thinking about item #1 every day and try to take it down myself and make a huge freaking mess. 3. Regardless of those two things, once I get the tree down I feel like party time is over and I should exercise, sitting around time is over and I should clean and organize, and Things Are Back To Normal. So yeah, I wanted it down. Even if we had a fake tree, I'd still want it down by now for reason #3.

I have like four more things to do and then I can go to bed.

Oh, I want it down but I just can't seem to get motivated. Plus there are so many other things to do that seem to be giving me more satisfaction right now.

Well, yeah. I'd much prefer overeating and surfing the intarwebs, myself. I think I'll have some more chocolate and go to bed, and not go for a walk tomorrow morning but instead skip my evening routine tonight and just get up earlier in the a.m. Sounds good. You are my inspiration.

(Hiiii.)

I took that. I believe I got Mike Gravel at about 98% and then Obama. :D
