Gossip Girl
Oh, I forgot to post about Gossip Girl, which I watched last night. I liked it, but I didn't think there was enough humor. The show needs a Seth Cohen. ;) The Dan character was amusing but he and his "dad" look more like brothers. Funny how the father had had a thing with Serena's mother who looks an awful lot like Kelly Rowan, and now the son has a thing for Marissa Serena. And Blair's boyfriend looks an awful lot like Ian Somerhalder in some scenes. I'm wondering where they're going to go with Chuck, who has been pretty much established as a rapist. I hope they don't show his misunderstood, woobie ways so we're all supposed to feel sorry for him and start rooting for he and...Serena to be together. Because homeless boxing! he's a rapist! Also I find him remarkably unattractive. I hope the show has the stones to make Serena's younger brother gay, because that's what I was thinking at first (hey, plenty of gay teens try to commit suicide) but then he kind of eyed Jenny like he was interested. No, no, no. I think As The World Turns is totally spoiling me, making me expect decently written coming-out stories. (I never thought I'd type "decently written" and "ATWT" in the same sentence.)

It's not really close to the O.C. The O.C. was funnier, prettier, and more charming. But I'll keep watching for a while... :)

He did, though periodically I thought all the boys, except for Dan, off and on looked an awful lot like each other, and other actors I know from other things. They were pretty nondescript. I'm guessing they'll become more distinct to me in the next few weeks, but it's weird right now. ;)
